The production quality was decent, but their marketing package was described in unmeasurable terms. After signing, I was asked to pay additional fees for extra promotional tiers. In my experience with Arkham House Publishers, they handled communication poorly and contract clarity was unsatisfactory.

Contracted

Paid $2,000 to $5,000

Editing was good, but communication slowed down significantly after final payment was rendered. Make sure to get all marketing deliverables specified in writing. In my experience with Arkham House Publishers, they handled communication poorly and contract clarity was unsatisfactory.

Be very careful reading the grant of rights clause. The initial cost quote was reasonable, but post-signature upselling was persistent throughout the process. In my experience with Arkham House Publishers, they handled communication poorly and contract clarity was unsatisfactory.
