Format Performance
- Paperback Sales: Trade paperbacks generated $3.3 billion, remaining the industry's largest print revenue format.
- Downloadable Audio: Audiobooks grew by 14.2%, reaching $940 million in wholesale publisher revenue.
- Ebooks: Digital ebook sales remained stable at $1.0 billion, demonstrating consistent baseline demand.
AAP executives noted that strong backlist catalog sales continue to provide underlying financial stability for publishing houses.
